2025 : Year of Trying

 Hi!

And here we go again, with the yearly self-reflection (and memory journalling), for those of you who are new here, don't bother reading this xD because this blog, by now, is supposed to be for me lol (no, really, i still wrote it here just because... it's becoming a tradition for me).

This year i turned 30.

God, what a life. I think by the time you turned 30, everything feels like rushing back to your memory. You're halfway through your life, and in 30 years I will be 60, and I will be veeery old (if I am blessed to be that old). But right now, 30, it feels so... weird to me in a way I cannot explain. I used to be scared going 30, mostly because I don't feel like I did anything significant (house? family? marriage? work? education?), but now that I'm here, it feels so unknown. Like going autopilot, but yet you want to take the steering wheel. 

But I think that what scared me the most is never about the wrinkles, or other extravagant things, but more about being scared seeing your loved ones getting older too. Time flies so fast; I feel like I was only 18 yesterday, but now I'm here. I'm scared of the moment that is fleeting away, but that's just how life is, right?

This year, it feels weird in a way. Actually, I think for the first time after a long time being static, I wanna do something to improve my life. I was accepted for postgraduate study, and next year, hopefully, I will get to continue my studies abroad! I also started a business with my bf by the end of the year, and I hope that it will go smoothly since we're planning to make a profit to fund our future hehe.

2025 also a year of heartbreak since months before gashuku (training) i have a somekind of problems with the club i was in and after that, i decided to stop (with lots of tears) because what once i really enjoyed became so uncomfortable and i develop hatred into it. It took months to finally recovered, but then in the end it became so clear that i was never the problem, and that no matter how much someone tried to hide their manipulation, it will be shown off in the end anyway (iykwim).

Other than that, this year is pretty colourful. I travelled to another city twice this year, once with my bestfriend mira (we travelled to jakarta-bandung to get our IELTS exam, it was soo adventurous) and the second time is with my family to Bogor (we finally get to visit kebun raya, it was so pretty! i wish it wasn't that hot lmao and i wish we could spend more time there). Oh and what makes 2025 even more colourful is i finally joined that shooting club! I got to take basic class before they disbanded BUT we still regularly trained together every sunday morning, it was so fun and also i bought my first glock 17 (named him Riley ofc). This year i also spent more time with my parents, we regulary go outside (just in the city) to hang out at severa cafes and every tuesday we hang out in barajawa cafe to do my essay lol

 So... that's that for 2025. It was closed with a fun, exciting new year party with my former swordclub friends + a farewell because i probably won't be able to participate in 2026 and plus, some of my friends will be too busy and some is moving out of town.

But hey, i was so glad that i live in that moment, cherishing, enjoying and having fun as i can. Hopefully we get to meet again in the future or i hope i get to meet another exciting friends/group that feels like a family.

Honestly, i cannot wait for 2026. I just have a great sense that it's gonna be a great year with lots of new adventures!

2024 : Year of Exploration

 Hi!

It's been a long time as usual~ i only write in this blog once a year anyway but if someone read this, keep it a secret (ssh i don't want people who actually knows me really read this blog x'D it's kind of embarassing) but!! this is a trace of  my existence in the internet~

Surprisingly this year has been going on too fast. I don't know, i feel like i didn't really achieve anything this year. Sure there are a lot of eventful days but... academically, financially... lol i didn't really achieve anything ((sad)).

BUTT unexpectedly i went to London this year. Like, very sudden. I have to be honest the whole trip very... surreal. It was winter, went  there for a WHOLE MONTH. From march to april, i spent the whole fasting month there and it was... excruciating T - T the days are longer since it's winter-spring, most of the time i can't stand the cold, gloomy days, the unbearable feeling of loneliness (okay i get it now when people said London is DEPRESSING) the 24/7 wind-unpredictable-drizzle, and the days with no sun, it all feels suffocating a lot of times and i got to be honest i don't find it as enjoyable when i was in Japan or any other country i've visited before. On the other hand, London has its own charm, i do feel like what i love the most about it is despite its weather, there are this longing, soft and comforting moments. Like when i see the sunset from my window or looking at the streetlamp in the night from above with wind softly breeze on my cheek. I guess it's the charm of the four season country, it just felt different every season, even with the uncertainty of the blossoming flower and the rains, they have its own charm.

I did spent a lot of exploring in this whole month, from museums, parks, bookstores, supermarkets, iconic places, i feel like i already explored the whole London by a month and it doesn't stop surprise me anytime.

this year i also feel like i felt the most lonely in a lot of time (not my bf fault) mostly because of the time when i spent in London plus one of my bestfriend got married to my other bestfriend. Idk, there's always this... feeling of left behind when someone close to you got married. But ofc i'm extremely happy for them! it's just i can't help it to feel that way, especially when they move out from town. It makes me wonder when will i get to have my own life like that.

Other than that.. my days was filled with normal-routines like helping in my cafes, work, movie dates (this year we spent more time at home watching movies rather than going out lol, i also found a new hyperfixation on warhammer because of my bf lol

Other than that, this year has been pretty eventful, from japanese festivals to iaido gathering with the girls, going to Jakarta for expo with my parents, adventure to the abandoned place in Dieng, the dramas (with the girls and boys) that's going on in the iaido club lol to the magical new year party with the iaido family, despite the feeling of loneliness when i'm in London, all the warm feelings i got when i get back home makes me feel even more grateful with what i have now.

2023 : Year of Events

 Hi!

As a tradition, once a year i will be writing in this blog to recap how my year has been eventhough i'm pretty sure no one reads blog anymore lol (especially this blog) but if you do then.. welcome? and i hope you enjoy this little bits of stories in my life :)

This year has been going really good. The early of 2023 wasn't an easy one, i have things happened but well when one door close, another one open. I have a boyfriend this year (kind of unexpectedly and accidentally) he was in the same sports club with me and we get along very well quickly. I wasn't expecting that we have a lot of things in common but we did. There's a lot of up and downs obviously just like any other relationship but so far things has been going very well between us. We travelled to a lot of places, making a list of what-to-dos and what-to-visits, attending events, performing together, etc. It might be too soon but i love him from the bottom of my heart, and it's the kind of unconditional love that i put on him because he's just so kind and soft. I want him so bad and i hope that somehow we get our own happy ending too in the future together.

This year i did a lot of events with my sports club from gasshuku (it's like a training camp) with maik-san from germany, tournament (i got 3rd place!), drama performance (as okita from shinsengumi) and a lot more events. I did cosplays too, my favourite so far is becoming dark deku but well the outfits are just too complicated it's too hot to wear all day long lol.

I also visited japan with my bestfriend this year. It was a two-weeks travel all around japan. We visited Tokyo, yokohama, kyoto, kurashiki, hiroshima, itsukushima, and osaka. That travel felt so fast yet so long too, this time somehow it felt different than any other travel. While i am excited and there's so many things fun happening, it felt like a longing feeling that i can't describe. Sometimes i just feel estranged over a place, or feeling lonely despite the crowds. It's a feeling that i can't get off but in the end, it is still a really fun travel, especially i get to spend time with my bestfriend that felt like my own sister. Honestly she should be credited more because without her i wouldn't be this way, i wouldn't be this sane.

This year i also happened to get sick several times, from pneumonia to accident. It wasn't anything bad bad but lol it's kind of funny i guess. Oh and not to forget that i finally watched Coldplay concert this year!! one of my bucketlist and it was sooo majestic, so fun and so good. I hope that one day in the future i could watch it again (hopefully with charlie brown next!)

 I guess that's it for this year?

It was so eventful and yet i feel like i didn't do anything much.

I started thinking about what's next for 2024. And i hope i find my purpose.

But more importantly, i hope that 2024 brings so much more happiness, adventures, love and luck.

2022 : Year of Love

 Hello~

like i said in the last post, since i'm not that active in this blog, i will only write once in a year. Not sure who i'm writing to, but i guess this is a proof that i'm here in the internet and if anyone came across this blog and read this very random blog, i hope you enjoy this xD

so, 2022 begin with me finally trying to come back to medical field & work in one of the covid-19 quarantine hospital in the city. Surprisingly eventhough it sounds scary, it's less stressful compared to the emergency room. I do enjoy my time there despite some problematic that comes from the internal issues, everything is good. I have a lot of free time in between.

This year, i travel a lot. 

I went to my brother's town several times before and after his marriage. We have additional member of the family and it was really nice since it does feel like i have an older sister that really care of me. I also travel to cities to attend food exhibitions with my parents, trying luxury hotels to the most horrible one lmao.

The highlight of this year should be i finally travelled to Australia to meet jinx!

We've known each other for 3 years and finally in july we met and it is honestly the best travel experience i have felt so far. This is also my first experience travelling alone abroad. Sure there's a lot of difficulties before i finally go, from how late the australia visa acceptance (like 2 months) until the surge of the ticket itself (300% higher price from the normal price) but i'm still glad i am finally able to meet her.

We travelled a lot from the perth zoo, cottesloe beach, blue boat house, van gogh alive museum, etc. We walked for miles, we talked about a lot of things, we ride merry go round, we relaxed on the park in the sunny day, we enjoyed the beach, we dine beside the harbor, we watched kangaroos sleeping, we enjoyed the sunset together, we went to vintage bookstores, we play escape room, we cook,  we bought groceries, we cried together, 

we did so many things together.

Despite that it's the first time we meet physically, but we feel like we have known each other soo long that it is so painful when it comes for us to say goodbye. 

i literally cried the way back home, have no appetite and just being so depressed. But this is surely not the end and we will meet sooner than we thought. 

another highlight is, my impulsivity actually brings ne to a new area that i haven’t touched in so long : cosplay. yes. i started working on hawks wings first then attend 3 events this year as hawks and toga and miraculously that leaves a positive feedback from people (i even won the best costume, like whaaat??) and plus i met a lot of people from that, like A LOT. it’s nice to be in a new community i guess, and it seems that every year i always met a new one (which is good)

and last but not least, i also tried iaido, and the club is so nice (thanks to H for introducing me to them) i haven’t feel so welcomed in a sports club before and they’re all so supportive! 

so yeah, this year, it would be the year of love.

i have found so many forms of love this year and it honestly… very encouraging. 

i really hope next year is gonna be a blast & a happy one ❤️  see you soon 2023!

2021 : Year of Discoveries

 Hello!

andd just like usual, writing things only once a year lol but i really hope no one read this (?) and if you do, come back here once a year to just read my stuff then thankyou, i hope you enjoy this little writing i do that happened in my life.

I'm writing this in the end of january 2022 so after a while, i think i finally know what 2021 means to me. I finally taking breaks after 8 years in medical field. I would say i can finally breathe, like breathe. I guess it's really taking a toll after a while and i am really grateful that i am at this point and be able to take everything and stop for a while. I've always been wanting to pursue my hobby, just doing what i like, drawing, travelling, etc. 

There are a lot of things that happened in 2021, one of the best is having a group of wonderful colleagues that is like a sister to me. Despite all the dramas and stuff that happened, we get along and we are able to make a lot of experience like picnic, sleepovers, hangouts, barbecues, and many more. And the other thing that i find it endearing is living 9 months with lan zhan as my roommate did help me a lot and we create a lot of good memories like weekly groceries (seriously? lol), going to the cinema together, enjoying the small moments like watching the sunset while eating our dinner, cooking, singing with asa hati, going to the park and so many more. I realize we do have a lot of similarities despite our differences

OH andddd what's good this year? i spent a lot on stuffs that i have been always wanting to buy! (which felt so good!) i bought guqin, BJD (finally!after all those years) wei wuxian, analog camera, and wacom cintiq ! i kinda did regret a... little bit in the end because i spent so much but hey! i could always make more hopefully in the future and afterall, i was happy so it wasn't a waste

Pandemic might be going on and it does get worse i think around june because there is a lot of cases and death news... but this year, there are also good things that happened

Like...this year, after i quit my job, my art finally got recognized in the destiny community and omg my art went to this week at bungie !! i gained a lot of friends and followers from there and i'm so glad jinx introduced me to destiny. I also fell in love with Cayde-6 too eventhough he broke my heart :( Also! i adopted bunniesssssss (i've always been wanting to adopt one), adopted 4 bunnies name bangchan, lee know, bolu lulu and mochi.

So in conclusion, this year, i discovered a lot.

Maybe part of myself that is long gone. 

Reclaiming my passion, enjoying every bit of moments, 

this year is good. And hopefully, 2022 is better for all of us

Korean Diet Products : Labnosh Foodshake Review

here again with me, trying out korean diet products called Labnosh foodshake, which is intended to be a meal replacement that contains nutritious ingredients!

The first time i saw this what comes to my mind is that the packaging are so pretty and aesthetic, i love it so much! they come in different flavors and (a bit pricey) compared to other foodshake

What's inside :

The calories are pretty high, it average from 360-380 Kcal per bottle depends on the flavor. Contains 18% carbs, 32% protein and 14% fat (no trans-fat), covering all three major nutrients. Up to 28% of daily fiber requirements(Chocolate flavor) Intake of 15 types of vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients : Latte symphony[vegetable-based cream(hydrogenated coconut oil/coconut oil: foreign origin(Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia)), sodium caseinate, acidity regulator, mixed skim milk(Netherlands)], sugar, dextrin, instant coffee dark roast{instant coffee(Vietnam) 90%, roasted coffee beans(Columbia) 10%} 6.4% mixed powdered milk] 32%, sunflower oil powder{corn syrup, sunflower oil(Foreign origin: Spain, Malaysia, Ukraine), whey protein(Switzerland), glycerin esters of fatty acids, soy lecithin}, Instant concentrated whey protein(US/whey proteins, soy lecithin), whey, polydextrose, sugar, coconut cream powder, processed starch, synthetic fragrance(Mocha scent), vitamin mineral mix EG(potassium carbonate, taurine, magnesium oxide, dextrin, inositol) – contains milk and soy

 

 

I only bought three because i want to try first, so my pick is coffee, cookies & cream and coffee. The serving is really easy and you just need to fill up the bottle with water and shake it all away~ it doesn't crumple like any other protein shakes and it blends easily ^^ There's instruction on how much you put the water and it's on the line. But still, since it feels too thick to me, i added the water slightly to the max (but if you like stronger taste, just add water on the line)

Flavor that i tried & my opinion :

Chocolate :  Tastes really thick, like a rich belgian milk chocolate. It tastes good! it feels really full after drinking this too

Cookies and cream : tastes soooo sweet, it has cookies crunch inside of it and it tastes good. But i don't really like something that is too sweet so this one flavor is just a bit too much for me. It does tastes like cookies and cream. Beware of this one since i cannot drink it one go, i put it for a good 20 minutes and turns out all the cookies are not crunchy again and it makes the drink feels slimy ^^)" so it's better if you drink this in one go

Coffee : i would say that the coffee tastes are really light that it's almost doesn't taste like coffee but more like a chocolate cereal with a hint of milk coffee (?) but i know a fact the taste is so similar with an energy cereal drink called 'energen' in my country that has chocolate taste. This one surprisingly doesn't feel as fulfilling as the chocolate and cookies and cream one, maybe because the taste is lighter than the other

my results....

i drink this in 3 days and my weight change :

61,9 > 61,5 kg

it doesn't change signicantly but it's because i only try it in 3 days and to be honest i do think it's an effective way as a meal replacement and it could help you with cutting your calories!

 the only thing that i want to note on this product is probably their amount of sugar are pretty high (which is about 17-34g in one bottle depends on the flavor) but at the same time their protein amount are pretty high too compared to another product that i know (range from 15-19g) so you might want to note that ^^" but overall, it has a really unique taste and i came to like it eventhough i feel like the sweetness is a bit too much

Korean diet products : Everbikini Ppagillacano Diet Coffee Review

 Hi!

I'm here again~ and finally a post that is not related to one year resume lol,

anyway i'm here to review one of korean diet product called EVERBIKINI PPAGILLACANO DIET COFFE , i was interested in this product because it has hwasa as their ambassador (and as a moomoo i was super excited to try it) plus it has very interesting active ingredients too

so here's the ingredients :  Garcinia cambogia extract, coffee powder, pantothenic acid, vitamin B1, chicory root extract powder, green coffee bean extract

garcinia cambogia is indeed used in a lot of diet products and i've tried diet product with garcinia before it surprisingly helps with my weight loss ^^ alsooo because it's in the form of coffee, i'm more happy because i really like drinking coffee~

Taste : 

the very first time i opened up the sachet, the smell are really tasty! it doesn't even smell like coffee, but like the smell of a very tasty noodle/potato chips ( i mean it ) so i'm guessing it's gonna be good. But it turns out the taste is just okay, like any coffee. The taste are really light compared to normal coffee, so don't worry~

Packaging : 

There's 28 sachet in 1 box, you drink it twice in a day (could be anytime but it said that it's best to drink it before work out) so it lasts for 2 weeks. 

How i drink it : 

since i'm not a fan of bitter taste i like to mix it with a spoon of milk. I pour it with 150 ml of hot water and it blends easily. I haven't tried it with cold water but they said it's gonna be good too. anyway since i left this on my apartment, i could only drink it from monday to friday and i didn't drink it in saturday & sunday. I also do calories restriction below 1200 kcal, did a 30 minutes workout so you might want to know if this could affect the result too ^^ 

Side effects :

there's no side effect of this diet coffee, no bloating, no stomachache, no diarrhea and actually i feel comfortable in drinking this one because i found out a lot of diet products has a diarrhea effect >_<

Result : 

weight loss : 62,9 > 61,8 = ~1,1 kg

abdominal circumference : 82 > 79,5 = ~2,5 cm

 So in my opinion.....

Taste : 💓💓💓💓 4/5

Effectivity : 💓💓💓 3/5

Side effects : none

to be honest i don't think that this coffee will work properly if you didn't do calorie restriction and workout sooo remember that weight isn't everything ^^ try not to stress about your weight and focused more on the process, like exercise and mindful eating~ and maybe set your goals from 'i want to get skinny' to 'i want to be healthier/more fit' that way you'll not get too stressed~

2020 : Year of Hardship

 Hello again,

it's certainly been a long time since the last one. Probably because i didn't really know what to write beside a reflection of the year. I don't really think that people gonna read this anyway, so i'm making this as a journal for everyone who hops in this blog randomly. 

So, 2020 definitely the worst year for me, hopefully because i don't expect to have another year like this. And i'm pretty sure that everyone thought the same too. the beginning of 2020 is just fine, i think. I went to a course to study, passed and finished it. But that was that. We didn't even get our graduation party because this whole pandemic thing and i felt so dissappointed. I was planning to wear this grandiose dresses and parties but covid strikes first before we even planned that.

But well, yeah, i passed.

I started working at cafe for part time job then continued my work on hospital, which is pretty nice because i get paid (almost) good this time. And my co-worker and seniors are pretty friendly, i like them to be honest.

Other than that, 2020 is awful. My dad went into accident and had to undergo several surgeries, almost critical, my parents company didn't last because covid happens, but at the same time i'm glad that the food business they're in help us a lot.

Oh and i got a new interest this year, it's because my roommate introduce me to the untamed that i got into chinese drama, novels, manhua and donghua. Mo xiang tong xiu's works are really amazing, it just fits perfectly to my taste, the whole plot, the character and the art is just *chef's kiss*. I also bought guqin because i think the sound is just too calming and beautiful, it's not yet arrived but hopefully next year it arrived safe and sound and i could learn it just fine.

In conclusion, i got so many life lesson this year. Both in bad and good way.

That healthy and togetherness is what most important in life. That money and fortune doesn't really buy you anything.

I really hope that next year is gonna be good, gentle and caring, full of happiness for all of us. I cannot wait to many good things ahead. I hope that this whole pandemic things ends quickly, i just want to travel abroad T - T

2019 : the year of friendship

hiii~ 

it's been a long time this blog is more like a digital diary now lol (really, now i just came here to write stuffs what happened with last year lol) but i'm kinda glad that this is becoming a tradition to just write things i treasure so if one day people want to know my life (i'm not sure what for lskahsk) so far it's been great ^ w ^ )~

sooo 2019 definitely is a year of friendship. Having team when you work means that they'll be fight and stuffs and you will know the true friends there, and that's what happened to me. we have soo many chick flicks irl but lmao it's so fun honestly it's like living real life mean girls movies where you're stuck hanging around with the badass bitches but hey, i love them, because they're true and honest and loyal and they support each other. I kinda hate being the 'bad' part but i don't think they're bad at all, we're like birds of prey where harley got stuck with the badasss women and started fighting with the 'real' bad guys.

 

we named the group as plastic but then it becomes 'skinny meanie' not because we are skinny but because we are four chubby as heck and we kinda want to be skinny but can't (well, but honestly we're all like 'f*** beauty standards, we're beautiful' lol and this is why i love them so much, they accept me for whatever i'm like and that's what i need in friendship. Sooo for the whole year we did gossip gossip and gossip, i'm not a gossip person but hearing them talking about new things and stuffs are really interesting. We also did new things together, shopping, culinary alll around the town, trying all you can eat food in restaurants, sleepover, booking hotel room for 4 of us and going to the vintage bar (for the first time in my whole life) i've been wanted to visit in Majapahit hotel because i it looks like lupin bar in japan andddd take a photo of my dazai nendoroid there lol (my sole purpose, really) (i didn't drink tho ofc)

the other crazy thing we did together is probably book a house for only the 4 of us and it was DOPE. it was one hell of a stay, eventhough the house itself is not so pleasant but boi oh boi, we did lazy around in dress, pajama party, cooking together, going to the market together, have a good chat until we're all exhausted. We also bought matching rings together as a friendship mark~

lmao actually i forgot to tell you that we have extra member which is a guy but he's like very silent than the rest of us and like our little brother so yeah x'D

the other thing i discovered in 2019 is i got into BSD fandom and ohmyGod it was the best decision i've made so far. I have one hell of a group which is consisted of michelle and veni and we're like the buraiha trio, michelle as oda and veni as dazai then we have new member which is yhen that will be oda because she's more calm andd michelle as chuuya. it was so fun having them around~ i could laugh until i have stomach cramp and that will ended with so many memes and pics.

and then i met with a lot of friends too in BSD fandom, and i started my first zine too which is avocado toast for the first time someone commissioned me and i'm soo happy (T - T)

oh and by the end of 2019 i also have lou~ and that is the best decision i have ever meet because i'm so grateful to meet her, she's literal angel and goddess in one person.

2018 : the year of learning

Sooo after a long time i finally write again in my blog.
Man, it has been a very very long time isn't it? Where was the last time i wrote.. let's see.. it's 1 year ago? ( * - * )
and after graduating, i'm pretty much busy with everything. being a junior doctor is clearly not an easy task. I started working at hospital at the beginning of the year and it was pretty much such an amazing experience, so here's a list of all the stations that i've been going through :

5. internal medicine
6. pediatrics
7. anasthesiology
8. obstetrics and gynecology
9. otolaryngology
10. ophtalmology
11. Forensics science
12. Psychiatric
13. Public Health
14. Emergency Medicine

My favourite so far would be neurology because eventhough it has such a complex understanding, it's very easy and interesting to learn, besides that my second choice would be surgery because well i love being inside the operating room plus the cases are so exciting. Oh and a special mention for forensics because that one is also my favourite ~

When i started my work at the hospital, it was the very first time for me to live outside far away from my parents so  yeah, it definitely makes me feel homesick a lot of times but i also learn to live by myself and being independent never feel so exciting. It gave me the freedom that i always want but also at the same time, i learned to restrain myself too.

I dyed my hair in all different colours, went to a lot of malls by myself, stay at the coffeeshop by myself until night, bought a lot of figurines, merchs, and clothes, meeting with new friends, cosplaying with new group, becoming too addicted with escape room, cooking by my own so i can save my money for things that i wanna buy and so on.
 

I think 2018, makes me learn so many things. From medical related until learning how to love and comfortable with myself. I am always anxious and scared when i go outside by myself but now that i live by myself, i started loving my 'me time'. There's this somekind of freedom that you didn't have when you go by yourself. I actually don't mind being called single and lonely lmao, i think that people who said that just didn't know how to enjoy being themself.
Well i mean, you gotta love yourself first before loving other people, right?

Oh and i also met a lot of people from the touken ranbu fandom at the early of 2018, and i think it was one of the highlight of my life because for the first time i met someone online in real life. Obviously it was kind of awkward for me because i didn't talk too much and pop up that much in the group, but rei and haru (bless their heart) has always makes me feel less lonely and helped me  a lot with the fandom things

How to Make Graduation Hakama

Finally i graduate from my medical school in this november TwT after three years of struggle, finally it's time to enter the real world! I'll start working in hospital this december, and i personally can't wait for it >_<

About the graduation ceremony, i've decided (after a long time) that i'm going to wear hakama instead of kebaya. I know, it sounds ridiculous since this is not japan, but i want to try something new and since buying new kebaya costs too much this time :') so i decided in the end i'm going to make my own graduation hakama! I know most people might think that i'm not proud of my nationality, but no, that's not it, i just want to try something anti-mainstream in the end of school and also there's no rules that said we must wear kebaya, so why not? xD

Another reason why i want to wear graduation hakama is because the hakama itself has a long history and meaning. The history dated back to late meiji era, and hakama were originally worn by teachers of women’s schools, but gradually worn by students. Another source also told that hakama was a 'revolutionary' clothes, due to the fact that after the meiji restoration, fashion changed so much, included how women dress specially in the newly established girls school, and their uniform was hakama pants that worn over kimono, which makes them easier to do activity when they work or study. However, in this modern era, hakama is only worn in special occasion, for example like graduation. There's also meaning behind the number of the pleats, i forgot where i read it, but i will make sure to search it and put it here once i found the article again :D

but, hakama pleats in general represent the traditional virtues of the samurai and divided into five on the front and two on the back of the hakama.

Front pleats : 

1. Yuki (courage, valor)
2. Jin (humanity, benevolence)
3. Gi (justice, righteousness)
4. Rei (courtesy, civility) 
5. Makoto (sincerity, honesty)

Back Pleats : 

1. Chugi (loyalty)
2. Meiyo (honor, dignity)

And now, let's get started to the basic pattern! Anyway, this pattern is for someone who has a relatively big under bust like me, so if you are small and skinny, you might want to change the size :D also, this pattern might not be historically correct, since i combined the available pattern online and from seeing photos .

My under bust size is +- 82cm, and my hakama length is 98 cm (A + 8 cm) so this is the pattern i made :

There's total 5 pleats in the front, and 2 in the back, and the pleats goes something like this :

For the side opening, there's a method to make it neat, you can read it in yousai blog, basically you flip it first to the front, sew it between the creases, and flip it back to back and sew it again in the back, and then it will create something like this.

After that, put together the front and the back part and sew it~ and for the obi part (i don't know what's the part name actually hahaha) i made it both 300 cm long so i can create a ribbon at the front~

Anyway, a lot of people thought that graduation hakama is a pants, but actually it is more like a skirt since there's no divider inside it *_*

Best Free Mobile Otome Games

Hi! finally after a long time  i could spend time writing in this blog again, hehe~ lately i've been busy maintaning my citadel (with my little mitsutada & tsurumaru) *check out my ig @honmarudays ! and crafting a lot of things before i need to get back to campus again

So, after almost 6 months of holiday, and spend most of the time playing otome games, i just feel like i need  to write about it xD and here is my main list of best (free) mobile otome games so far! (and all of them are of course, in english) + they are all available in apps store ^^

5. Midnight Cinderella ( 真夜中のシンデレラ )

Midnight Cinderella

Midnight Cinderella is good, they have a good development of story, they also have a lot of events too which have different sides story which i love the most about the game. The main story is about you, who is an ordinary girl and chosen as a princess and you have to find your prince/future king for the sake of your country. So basically, all the guys you will see will involved everyone around the castle, for example like the knights (alyn), the noblemen (louis), the neighborhood's king (byron), etc. By this far, i've tried alyn, byron, robert and nico's route and my conclusion is eventhough there's intrigue in every stories, i found out that midnight cinderella is still lacking in suspense element, but still, what i like the most from this game is, the outfits are really cute and it kept you getting attached to their event stories. 
And just like usual, in every cybird's game, to have the premium route, you need to pay extra for coins tho, and i've never pay anything for games so, yeah, i'd rather spend a lot of time collecting things rather than pay to be fast, i think xD

TRIVIA : there's also the musical and the comic book, then there's this ultimate Ikemen Series Artbook that includes all of cybird's game character (which is very recommended if you really like artbooks and characters), i'll review it later when my package comes~ also, about the stageplay you can see the teaser on youtube or you can purchase the cd/dvd too in their website : LINK

4. Destined to love ( 運命の恋)

Destined to Love

Destined to love is the best at music in my opinion, the background song is just wonderful (but too bad i couldn't search it anywhere) and the story is also good! The plot is you are from the future and suddenly you are taken back to the bakumatsu era ( the japan era where shinsengumi is still exist ), after that it is all up to your decision whether you will back to the future again or stay with the guy you fall in love with. It has the right composure of dramatic and romantic, because it also has a lot of intrigues too, which is in my opinion is the best element for a story. In this bakumatsu era, you will getting involved with a lot of shinsengumi and samurai's topic, like the famous okita shouji, hijikata toshizo, sakamoto ryoma and hajime saito (which is my most favourite story of all, you might probably want to try his route first)
Destined to love also have gacha, which lead you to get your secret side stories of your route, but sadly it took a lot of time to unlock all of the stories, so yeah, sometimes i ended up not redeem it because it took too much to fill out the gacha :-/ and also, they rarely have any free event stories which is sucks and it cost a lot of coins to get exclusive event stories, so yeah i always passed that one.

3. Samurai Love Ballad ( 天下統一恋の乱 )

Samurai love ballad is soo underestimated because i found out that eventhough the artwork is not as artsy as all of cybird's games (because samurai ballad is from Voltage) but their stories are soo great and it is well-developed. A lot of actions are involved and the sweet and romantic side is just well-balanced in every stories and routes, and also, to get pearls (which is almost the same like coins in cybird's games) are easy to get so eventhough i didn't pay anything, i could get easily all the event stories and main exclusive stories by collecting pearls from events, voltage is just the best at freebies after all xD and also, you can easily get new outfits too, which is double perfect. 
The plot is you have a small restaurant in kyoto, and suddenly your little brother have to assigned as poison taster, and afraid of what might happened to him, you will change into boys and served in the lord you will chosen later. The story will involved around the famous lords and daimyos in sengoku era, just like oda nobunaga, akechi mitsuhide, tokugawa ieyasu, toyotomi hideyoshi, etc. By this far, i have a lot of favourite routes because all of them is just too good to be true xD but if i have to choose, it would be the shy sanada yukimura, because ahh he's just damn too cute TwT

TRIVIA : there's the stageplay for samurai love ballad eventhough i cannot find where to purchase the cd/dvd or any video teaser :( but the cast really looks promising and i personally think that they're all fit to the roles xD specially takeda shingen and nobunaga! (and damn, kojuro is just asdfghjkl too handsome??) anyway, the only thing i know about the stageplay is they are being performed by banchoboys and you can see further information here : LINK

2. Ikemen Sengoku (イケメン戦国)

Ikemen Sengoku is the best of all cybird's game. Graphic, stories and events, they are all just perfect. i spent my days waiting for my love passes to come just because i'm getting too attached with the story :') I really love how they made every character far different from each other and i just love how they develop their story to make you deepen your feeling to the character (like the challenges and the jokes and the pick up line, OH) (and should i mention that i could LITERALLY CRY and SMILE and LAUGH a lot because i read the stories??) everything is just perfect!
About event stories, rather than destined to love, it is usually easy to get the exclusive stories without purchasing any coins but just like i told you, in every cybird's mobile game to get the main premium story needed exclusive outifits that only can be purchased by coins :') but hey, the normal route is okay too, because they are still sweet eventhough you cannot get the exclusive portrait and the sound *sigh*
What i like the most about this game again is, the chara's sound! This is way different than the other above because sometimes, you will get to hear the chara's sound and yum, i love hearing their seiyuu's talking x'D (specially masamune!) but sadly, for right now, ikemen sengoku only have 4 routes which is oda nobunaga, date masamune, sanada yukimura, and the latest is tokugawa ieyasu. I personally hope they will develop another character just like in their psvita!
The main plot itself is almost the same like destined to love, you are from the future and you get 500 years back to the sengoku era, where you will save oda nobunaga from his famous honnou-ji incident and lead to the change of history as you deepen your bond with sengoku warlords. Hell yeah, ruining history never feel so good as this HAHAHA

TRIVIA : since ikemen series is getting more and more popular recently, there's a lot of events and merchandise going on, like events cafe and the musical (also they like to make collaboration, like the last i've seen is they are doing a collaboration with hotel *sigh* which if you stay at the hotel, you will get limited merchandise :( ) I didn't get the chance to attend the cafe, but my friends went to the events cafe and the desserts looks so cute :( also, there's cybird anniversary pop-up store that sell limited merchandise TwT i feel like i want to cry looking at my wallet tho.
I only managed to buy the manga, which is featured in PRINCESS magazine (which has a really beautiful cover of nobunaga in their September 2017 issue), you can purchase ikemen sengoku manga at akitashoten and they will come with a bonus card, so i heard. 

about ikemen sengoku stageplay, there's already two story about it. The first is sanada yukimura-hen and the second is Oda nobunaga vs mouri motonari. i haven't seen both of them since i cannot found the link to where to purchase the cd/dvd, but you can purchase their goods (like maps, fan, or poster) you can see further information here : LINK

 And the last is the anime, i'm pretty excited when i first heard that they're going to release the anime, but then reality vs expectation hits me  x'D it's far different from what i expected, BUT when i watched it, (eventhough it's only a 5 minutes per episode) they are sooo funny! i laughed too hard and somehow, the animation is so cute eventhough i hope they will make a serious makeover later on the story and character design xD but in the end, i really enjoy it a lot ~

1. Mystic Messenger

A lot of people might already know this, specially if you surf a lot in tumblr xD mystic messenger is way different than the other above and that's what makes it special! There are no events, no avatar decorating. Only a chatroom that will be the story of everything. And just like its name, mystic messenger is all about the mysterious messenger app that will lead you to the RFA, an underground-not supposed to be accessible for you-group that consist of 6 people from different background. Their main project is to bring back the party they used to held, and by you joining the group, hopefully the organization can have the party again. BUT WAIT, it's not that simple. Mystic messenger itself might be simple on the first time, but as you get attached to every route stories, you will notice that it will get darker and darker, specially if you unlock the deep routes (707 and jumin story) and unlock the secret ending if you finish the 707 ending. And the latest is, cheritz finally released V's route that is only accessible in mystic messenger another story, but it will need 300 hourglass TwT 
So, the conclusion is mystic messenger is really really good~! it feels almost like you chat and you call (yeah, you can call them and they can call you too, but only it is in korean *don't worry there's subtitle there) in real life. And since there's no love passes, you need to follow the chatroom in specific time, and this is where you need to be careful because if you miss the chatroom past the time, you will not be able to join the chat (sometimes it is okay to pass, but most times just don't because it is important to follow the story and get the guest to attend the party) or else if you doesn't have enough hearts from the character, you will get the bad ending :0
Yeah, this is what makes mystic messenger way different than the other. They have bad, normal and good ending. you can even achieve bad ending in the early chats if you are not careful, but to get the normal and good ending, you need to follow until the end. Remember my saying about mystic messenger can gets darker and darker the more you know? yeah, just try to get the bad ending and the deep story.

BONUS : Dress Up Diary

eventhough i cannot say that this one is also categorized as otome games, but still there's romance element in the whole point and if you get tired on all the games above, i might recommend you this. I don't really remember about the plot (since i always skipped it to the dress up challenge, which is the point of this game) but all i remember is you get thrown into a whole new world, which you will meet luca the elf and you need to get dressed in specific outfit to pass to the next story. The great thing about this game is the outifts! i realllly love their wonderful design and there's soo many outfits you need to get because they're all really pretty. The art is wonderful too, and the boys are really cute~ There's also certain events and mini games to level up your points, and it's not pretty hard to tackle the challenge ^^ further information here : LINK

FAQ & Syarat Visa Korea

sekarang tentang visa korea ya~ yang kemarin belum sempat baca tentang persyaratan visa jepang, yuk dibaca dulu disini
pengalaman kemarin waktu bikin visa korea, bener-bener mepet banget nget, masalahnya kena liburan idul fitri dan waktu ke travel agent pada ditolakin semua :( saran aja nih, buat yang mau trip ke korea, jangan lupa perhatikan jadwal libur dan jadwal kerja mereka PLUS, pembuatan visa korea terhitung lebih lama dari jepang (minimal 6 hari kerja) jadi kalau bisa sebulan sebelum berangkat urus dulu itu visa, jangan sampe kemepeten karena persyaratannya pun tergolong lebih rempong dari visa jepang.

Jadi, apa yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat visa korea? (sumber : kedubes korea jakarta )

• Gimana kalau SPT & SIUP nggak ada?

kemarin kendala paling banyak waktu ngurus visa buat temen juga, kebanyakan dari mereka nggak ada SPT dan SIUP, alhasil waktu kita ke travel agent, dibuatin surat tentang pernyataan hilang bertempelkan materai deh. Buat yang masih pelajar, SIUP & SPT memang masih belum ada tentunya, jadi kalian bisa pake punya ortu kalian. Sekalipun punya ortu kalian hilang, kalian tetap harus bikin keterangan hilang bermaterai. terus juga, kemarin buat jaga-jaga kita juga diminta untuk melampirkan fc npwp nih.

• Surat keterangan kerja dan mahasiswa disediakan nggak disana?

Buat surat keterangan kerja dan keterangan mahasiswa ini kalian urus di tempat masing-masing ya, kalau bisa dibubuhkan cap dan tandatangan atasan kalian. Kalau di universitas aku sih kemarin waktu ngurus langsung ditanya buat apa, jadi karena jawab untuk visa, langsung dibubuhkan cap + tandatangan dekan/rektor.

• untuk persyaratan fotonya gimana ya?

nah ini kemarin sempat bingung juga sih, waktu kemarin lihat di web memang gak ada keterangan, tapi dari sananya memang persyaratan untuk foto visa korea 4,5 cm x 3,5 cm, tapi waktu di travel agent kita diminta untuk menyerahkan foto 4 x 6 cm (ya mungkin untuk dipotong), berlatar belakang putih ya~ kemudian juga kemarin diimbau buat foto presentasi muka 60% di travel agent kita

•  berapa biaya buat bikin visa korea?

per Juli 2017 kemarin, bikin visa single entry harganya 544k, multiple entry 1.244k, dan double visa 952k, mahal, memang, tapi sebanding kok sama belanja sampe puasnya disana wkwkwk

• dimana visa download formnya?

nah kemarin nih pengalaman waktu mau ngajukan sendiri, langsung gagal paham sama form yang di download di web resminya karena semuanya berbahasa korea, hangeul pula wkwkwk jadi alhasil karena bahas korea saya tidak se-expert itu, langsung aja deh ngurus di travel agent. Tapi ternyata saya baru menemukan kalau ada form yang berbahasa inggris hohoho jadi kalian bisa download disini di web resminya

• berapa minimal saldo tabungan buat pembuatan visa korea?

Kemarin waktu sebelum ngurus, baca-baca ada yang bilang 10jt, eh tapi ternyata waktu tanya di travel agent kita dibilangin kalau minimal saldo tabungan per orang 35juta

• bagaimana cara membuat surat referensi bank?

nah khusus yang satu ini kalian langsung dateng ke bank kalian masing masing ya, kemarin waktu teman-teman ke bank bri, butuh 2 hari untuk bikin surat referensi bank (selesai hari besok) dan buat bank bca, langsung sehari jadi, dua-dunya kena charge 100k. Jangan lupa, kalau kesana minta surat referensi bank ditujukan untuk kedubes korea di jakarta yaa~ terus, kalau ditanya mau dicantumkan saldo tabungan atau nggak, ini bebas, tapi kemarin sengaja nggak kucantumin biar kalau disuruh nambah saldo tabungan kita nggak usah ganti surat referensi bank yang baru lagi.

Nah buat visa korea, sekian dulu ya, karena pengalaman terakhir kemarin memang nggak apply sendiri, alasannya karena jakarta sangat jauh dari tempat tinggal dan kemarin sudah mepet banget jadi langsung aja deh ke travel agent hehe. CARA MENGECEK VISA KOREA

Kemudian, bedanya sama pembuatan visa Jepang, hasil jadi visa korea ini bisa kalian lihat di website mereka, jadi kalian  bisa tahu apakah visa kalian sudah selesai di proses atau tidak. Kalian bisa cek disini, tapi sering error kalau dibuka, jadi disarankan bukanya pake vpn ya.

Terus juga, ini nih, kemarin sempat ada masalah kalau pas dilihat di web kok search data not found, nah ini berarti kesalahan kalian di input datanya. Ikuti langkah langkah ini jika kalian mau input data untuk mengecek proses visa kalian :

1.  Pilih application > Diplomatic office
2.  Select > Paspor no. > input nomor paspor kalian, tanpa spasi ya 
3.  Name in english : Masukkan nama kalian dari Last Name dulu baru first name, middle name

Jadi semisal nih nama kalian ada 3 kata, seperti 'mira wiji lestari' nulisnya jadi 'lestari mira wiji' dan semisal nama kalian ada apostrophe (') tandanya nama kalian bakal dipenggal, daaaan ini pengalaman banget kemarin submit visa korea bareng temen berlima, 4 sudah approved, 1 orang search data not found mulu sampe keringat dingin. Ehhhh ternyata, kalau ada apostrophe di nama kamu jadinya dianggap dipenggal namanya, jadi begini, misal namanya 'emeralda cintya fikrotul mar'ah' kalian nanti tulis jadi 'ah emeralda cintya fikrotul mar' begituu, dan syukurlah akhirnya kita berlima bertuliskan approved dan visa korea akhirnya bisa diambil xD
