French Fashion : The Early 19th

Back to the early of 19th Century, Fashion in the 19th century in European and European-influenced countries is characterized by long elegant lines, tall collars, and the rise of sportswear in 1890. In the early of 19th century, the bustle return. The long, lean line of the 1870s was replaced by a full, curvy silhouette with gradually widening shoulders. Fashionable waists were low and tiny below a full, low bust supported by a corset.

The Outdoor & The Madame
How To Get The 'Outdoor' Look :

Really sorry not added the tutorial how to make the madame look, because i think the madame look is more difficult to mix than the outdoor look. *Anyway, you can just buy it or rental it, right?*
So, here it is the easy guide to get the outdoor look from the early 19th century, Enjoy!

The Outdoor Look. from 1890s

1) Boater Hat

Flat-brimmed and flat-topped straw hat, formerly worn by seamen, and now mostly at summer regattas or garden parties, often with a ribbon in club or college colors.

2) Blazer

Choose the one with cotton or wool material, please don't use leather because it'll not suits with the looks. Or, if you want to make it more vintage, choose granny blazer :) You can mix it with a little vintage belt like the one i drew on the above.

3) Ruffled Shirt or Sleeved Shirt

You can choose the ruffle shirt if you want the looks like i drew in the above, but you can choose a sleeved shirt ( + Tie ) if you choose 'the outdoor' picture looks on the above. To get the look of the outdoor look, you must insert your shirt to the long skirts! and if you choose the ruffle shirts, make sure the ruffle came out from the blazer, just to make it lovelier :)

4) Long Skirts

Pinstripe
Ruffle
yeap, Long Skirts ofc. You can choose pinstripe or ruffled one like in the right side. Or, you can choose the plain one.

+ Bustle Pad

actually, you don't need any bustle for this looks, because it's outdoor looks, but you can added it if your skirts is not good enough to give the outdoor style :) you can make it by yourself here

Good Luck with the Looks my friends! Don't be shy to ask or anything to me :D

19th, not 18th century ;) 18th means stays, round gowns, polonaises, big wigs and Marie Antoine ;)
