Cloud Atlas. Oh how awesome this movie is.

I just really love the plot, how they told 6 different stories in the same time, how they connected each other by each stories, and how they entered our mind with the 'reincarnation' concept slowly..

Cloud Atlas is a masterpiece, one of the most definitive to emerge in years, for it’s daringly ambitious, brilliant in scope, and wondrous in character development. 

They made us understand, feel what we didn't feel before. 

The idea of everything's connected is just... AWESOME.

De Komst : A love story from colonialism era

Yay! Finally got the title 

and it's..

De Komst ♥

De Komst means 'The arrival' or 'The future'

but i prefer 'The arrival' because it's all about the arrival of the dutchmen to Indonesia.

It took a long time to decide the title because i want something more, different, and bold.

And finally, De Komst is the final answer and i do really excited with that :)

Ah, and this is what i doodled when i was in class during the indonesian language lesson ( I know, ain't nobody got time for that)

There are always songs for the mood whenever i write stories 

and now it's time for 'De Komst', my latest novel with fifi playlist i shared with you :)

Because the setting came from 1930-1940,

it's actually pretty hard to find the actual song from this year,

so i just picked some from the classic world war 2 albums
(specially from G.I Jukebox : songs from world war 2 you can hear it here and Classic songs from WWII)

Nah. And here it's my favourite album of all :

If you read my novel, and found any songs that i meant in the books, i picked up mostly from this album :)

There is also the volume one and it's called :

But i didn't really listen to this part. I prefer the second one.

Dutch nationality anthem, i really love the song :) first heard of this anthem from 'Oeroeg' movie, this anthem really takes me back to the colonialism era, reminds me a lot of the dutchmen. 

2. I Don't Walk without You - Dinah Shore

This song featured in 'De Komst chapter 21' when Karina & Vlahos did the ballroom dance together :') i really love the mood. Very lovely and.. romantic. Actually all of Dinah shore's song isn't fit with the year.. but well.. have no choice. This song is just way too great.

3. He Wears a pair of Silver Wings - Dinah Shore

Featured in 'De Komst chapter 19 when Vlahos takes the dance with Astoria. I took this because this song is just really fit with what Astoria think about Vlahos :)

Ah! All vera lynn's song are great but this one is my favourite! I really love dame vera's beautiful voice

Sweet, Dramatic, and full of orchestra. This song is really suits with the mood, altough it's written for world war 2 (well, not really into my story..) but i really love how Hal describes the feeling.. wonderful !

Col. Vincent Van Vlahos

Bold, serious  & tough guy.  He doesn't talk much, doesn't ask for help, and never let anyone see him upset. Doesn't talk about trivial things, and always get to the point. Likes to be unpredictable, but sometimes that's what makes him cause resentment.

Usually called by 'Vlahos', recently being assigned to Malang, Indonesia as a weapon specialist and ranked as Colonel. He has bright blonde hair and pure blue eyes. He also has a maid (not a maid actually, because vlahos forced her to work for him) named Karina. But, as you know, Karina do have a really tough mind like Vlahos and everything always ended up not very well.

Vlahos only one friend. Loves Indonesia and always persuade him to understand the love of this country. Heinrich is the type of friend who understand a lot about his friend, including feelings & what to do. 

Sweet, temptating, and likes to smile. Heinrich is the kind of guy who'll get girls easily. He has emerald green eyes & hazel hair.

Worked in the same division as Vlahos, it is told that Heinrich has been experienced more in Indonesia than Vlahos. And that's why what makes him lovestruck with this country. He enjoys everything, specially girls, cuisine, whiskey, and jokes. He also has girl named Pratiwi, which's found that she's Karina's friend.

Vlahos feeling sick

I hate being sick.

It has been a week i got my cough & pain all over my body.

And i got a mid exam.

So, yes, I'm feeling really sick with all of this.

Not just because of my cough, but also because the pressure i got in the class.

I know, it's only 4 months again we'll have the final 'final exam'

but, can't they just take it easy?

i know it's funny, since vlahos is only my fiction character,
but i wrote him sick before i got sick.
So this means, indirectly, i got my disease from Vlahos HAHAHA

It's like already 7 months keeping this feeling for the whole time.

Endymion : The End of The Beginning

Oh God. It hell takes a lot of emotion to write the last part of Endymion.

I don't know what to say.

It's just feel so heartbreaking for me. Even when i've finished Endymion,

the feels, the story between althea & flux still hanging in my thought like

they want,.. more.

Oh, and in the night, actually i want to added this quotes *i made by myself for Endymion* 

but then i didn't do it because i am too confused where should i put the quotes between the words.

Endymion. 

Oh my, my, my, I really fall in love with this story. Probably the most romantic thing i've ever wrote. 

I never know how to spill out the 'romantic' thingy to my work because i never write about love story before this. Yeah, for the whole time i spending my time writing about fantasy, sci-fiction, adventure, etc.

I'm not romantic, but i tried to be.

And this girl, fifi show me how to spill out these feelings into our work, Endymion.

at first, it's really difficult to me, but after observing what's love like,. it's getting easier than i think!

      Oldie song that really helps me to get in 'Flux's mood'. The tune, and the lyrics,.. And how the chorus said "When you smile I can tell We know each other very well" This is just too Flux. I first discovered this song from 'Seeking a friend of the end of the world' and i instantly fall in love with this music. you can listen the music & lyrics here
3. Begin Again - Taylor swift
     Sweet but romantically heartbreaking. I do always love Taylor's work, but this one i think is the best music for endymion, specially for Althea's. The song is about beginning a new love, which, really perfect for Althea :-)
4. Letters - Mark Bradshaw
     I warn you to see the lyric first before listening to this music *a letter, actually* because well,.. you'll get the mood after you know what they said. Nothing romantic than this letter, seriously. I could get a heartbreak everytime i listening to this music. Watch the video here

     I haven't see this movie yet, but Dustin O'halloran is the only reason why i lhstened to their soundtrack. His work *faint* i just can't get enough of them.

Best known for her role in 'Doctor Who' as Amy Pond, this one beautiful redhead is actually a model from scotland. She has a flaming red hair (which is rarely to find nowadays) and light brown eyes. Too bad in the season 7 there's no baby pond again :') i actually adored her so bad.

Anyway, she's on the third list of my ideal 'Althea' (read my story, Endymion here :)) She has that redhair, genuine smile, that quirky joke, she's just so purrfect ♥

2) Rachel Hurd-Wood

She's only 13 when she played Wendy Darling in the Peterpan movie (2003). This lovely redhead has been included in "The Annual Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Famous Faces" list every year after she turned 18. Well, she's as beautiful & as lovely as what Grenouille think. Red hair, Clear grey eyes, succulent lips, porcelain skin,.. what else? she's got everything in it. 

Rachel Hurd Wood as Laura in Perfume

Her appearance in 'Perfume : The story of murderer' as Laura is my favourite of all ! You should watch this movie, i bet you regret nothing after seeing Rachel Hurd-Wood looks. She's so hypnotic ♥ And that's why she's on the second list as 'Althea' !

3) Bryce Dallas Howard

Nah, Twi-hards, you must know this girl, right? yeap, this girl appeared as Victoria in The Twilight saga : Eclipse as a vampire. Born and live as a redhead, this dallas girl also appeared as Gwen Stacy in the spiderman 3 and Kate Connor in Terminator Salvation (nah, that one is very fenomenal redhair!)

She's on the fourth list as 'Althea' Why? beside because her beauty, red hair, and pretty eyes, this girl has also that innocent look for Althea, i think it'll be really suit for her if i give her the role of a mute girl *i wish i could :')*
