Fairytales Movie at its Best

Finally, finished two wonderful & astonishing movies before the school examination is done.
So glad to know that both of them are really worth-watched and i have nothing to disturb me until the school examination is over (movies, i mean) and this also mean, i can concentrate more for my scores. *which is good for me

I watched two movies in cinema in the same week and it's kinda crazy, because i never did it before. And both of them are fairytales adaptation. And AWESOME. I couldn't say more, i always love fairytales and fairytales adaptation movies. But i gotta say, not all fairytales movies are good, specially when it comes to heroine- like snow white and the huntsman and red riding hood, i just don't like it. I think the story quality is just poor and it's not magical as the original story.

Then come 'Jack the Giant Slayer' and 'Oz the Great and Powerful' and thanks god, this is beyond what i expected. The story, special effects, acting, all of them is just.. Enchanting. Jack  is super adventurous and Oz is super magical.  Both of this movies are going to be more great if only i could see them in 3D :')

Jack the Giant Slayer

Nicholas Hoult is super fun!
I love the idea about him as Jack the 'Kooky' saving the adventurous princess, Isabelle in the land of the Giants. And there is Elmont, a good-brave heart man who is helping Jack and Isabelle, which is really catch my heart just because this man is just sooo kind :' (and have a good hairstyles too)
I like Isabelle the most. This girl is just really- me. A princess- not a soft one, who's always up to a big adventure, and finally saved by the hero (not gonna say Jack a prince, because he's only a good village boy) and fight together with him. This is exactly what i want to.
*spoiler* Oh, i love the ending too.
Where the magic still secretly sleep century by century in the crown
(which is in 'sherlock', moriarty will steal it)

The whole thing about this movie is awesome !

 "Fee, Fye, Foe, Fum !
Ask not whence the thunder comes.
For between Heaven and Earth is a perilous place.
Home to a fearsome giant race.
Who hunger to conquer the mortals below, waiting for the seeds of revenge to grow..."

Oz the Great and Powerful

Different with Jack, Oz isn't heroic at all. He's just simply being ridiculous Oz with a big dream. This movie taught me more than 'Jack the giant slayer'. I love how it ends. And i love how the writer improvised the original one.
The setting is more like 'Alice in wonderland', Sam Raimi did a great job in this movie. Specially the idea of bringing 'black and white'-squared scale-screen at the beginning of the movie then when Oz entering the magical land, it's slowly turning colourful and the screen gets wider.
Not just that, the costume.. is simply astonishing. I love how Rachel Weisz portrayed Evanora, she's really unexpected and yet so glamour. Then there's Glinda, played by Michelle Williams- she's just way too enchanting, she's like the 'perfect' fairy princess from any fairytales.

There's going to be the sequel of Oz, so i think you should watch this movie right now :-)
I'm sure you aren't going to miss this movie on 3D theatre, because this movie is awesome !

Rise of the Guardians

Rise of the Guardians
"We go by many names, and take many forms. We bring wonder and hope, we bring joy and dreams. We are the Sandman and the Tooth Fairy, we are the Easter Bunny and Santa. And our powers are greater than you ever imagine"
-North

Actually it's not fairytale, but it's about what you believe.
Based from the picture books and novel series The Guardians of Childhood, written and illustrated by William Joyce, the film is remarkably marvelous and almost perfect to a child’s eye.
The characters are very known, but the editors and animators of the film had managed to make it more original and realistic. From folklores and children mythologies, the Rise Of The Guardians sets another standard for those who will remake or produced a film about classical children’s stories or tales.
Jack Frost, the main character of this story, once an ordinary boy but is chosen as a Guardian after the Boogeyman’s threat to once again rule the world like he did during the Dark Ages.
Jack Frost succeeds, together with the other four Guardians namely North (Santa Claus), E. Aster Bunnymund (Easter Bunny), Toothiana (Tooth Fairy), and the Sandman. They were able to overthrow Pitch Black by his own fears and return bliss again to the Earth.

Simply said, this movie is perfect.
For adult, it might bringing back our childhood believe & memories.
The details are awesome, so i think you should watch it in 3D theathre or blu-ray one :-)

I couldn't say more, but 'rise of the guardians' is one of the best animated movie so far.
You can also read the original book by william joyce which is very beautiful illustrated for anyone. Here's a link to the book :-)

"It is our job to protect the children of the world. For as long as they believe in us, we will guard them with our lives"
